To make the most of your health care benefits, make sure your physician or any medical facility you use is in your plan's network. It means the difference of paying in-network rather than out-of-network costs. At UnitedHealthcare, no doctor referral is required to see a specialist. How do you know if a physician is in the network? Or how do you Find a Hospital or Other Facility that fits your medical needs? Once logged in to myuhc.com, go to the "Physicians & Facilities" menu tab and click on either "Find a Physician" or "Find a Hospital or Other Facility or Facility" link. It is customized with your plan information so it will provide you with only the names of physicians or facilities in your plan's network. |
