Introducing the New Health Statement

The new Health Statement makes it easier to understand claims information and offers helpful tips on managing your health care.

Understanding Your Explanation of Benefits Just Got Easier
We know that educated consumers make wiser choices when it comes to managing their health care, so we’ve taken one more step to help you get the most from your benefits with our new Health Statement.  Now you’ll have one, easy-to-read statement of your claims to give you a more complete view of your health care expenses.

This recap shows all spending and account information for each covered individual in your household for that month and provides year-to-date deductible and out-of-pocket balances. Since the statement is sent just once a month when there is claim activity, you’ll receive less paperwork! If you don’t want to wait for the statement to arrive in the mail, you can always get the most up-to-date balance and account information under Claim Center menu.  Also, you can still access your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements online at myuhc.com.
Tired of paper clutter?  To change your mailing preferences and stop receiving your health statements or EOB statements by mail, select Set Mailing Preferences found under the “Manage My Account” menu tab.
